After hanging posters on the wall, my teacher’s assistant stepped back to check out the new look. Abruptly he turned and thrust a paper across my table, “What about this Miss?” Typed in large letters it read:
IF YOU DON’T FOLLOW MY RULES MY TA WILL HUNT YOU DOWN.
Well, I laughed, but I knew my supervisors would not, and I had to tell him so. (I also knew that there might be grain of truth to it too.) Between these lines and other little things he did between helping me set up for the new semester I could tell that he was saying, “I missed you, Miss”. Maybe that will be enough incentive to keep him focused through the end of April when he moves to the next phase of the program.
