Wrigley Re-enters Society

Wrigley left today. Staff were talking about him all day because he left earlier in the day than anyone expected. He had held his good-byes in check yesterday, hoping for one more chat. I’m not sure how many of us will really miss him, but they spoke of the fear in his eyes as he drove off with his parole officer to the half-way house. That was the only place he could go. I bet he calls in to the facility by the end of next week.

I find myself holding my breath over him, not quite sure what to pray.

About hey miss

A teacher. A prison guard. I used to think that was like oil and water. Like lightening and metal. Some days it is. Some days it's magic.
